Twigwalker is a 2/2 Insect creature that costs {2}{G} to cast. When you activate its ability by paying {1}{G} and sacrificing it, you can give two target creatures an immediate boost of +2/+2 until the end of the turn, making it useful for swinging in for a big attack or bolstering your defences at a crucial moment. However, the downside is that you lose Twigwalker itself, so you'll want to use it when you can leverage that temporary power-up effectively, ideally when it can turn the tide of a battle or protect you from lethal damage.
