Torment of Scarabs - Foundations Jumpstart (Uncommon) [J25-495]

Torment of Scarabs is a three-mana Aura Curse from the Foundations Jumpstart set that enchants a player, forcing them to lose 3 life during their upkeep unless they sacrifice a nonland permanent or discard a card. This card can create significant pressure on opponents, especially in attrition-based strategies where resource denial is key. It works well in decks focused on control or life drain, but note that it requires a target player, making it less effective in multiplayer formats if opponents can easily mitigate its effects.
