Splinter, Aging Champion - Commander: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Extras (Rare) [XTMC-104]

Splinter, Aging Champion, from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Eternal set, is a Legendary Creature — Mutant Ninja Rat that enters the battlefield allowing you to destroy a tapped creature. This ability provides strong board control, enabling you to eliminate threats when it matters most. Upon leaving the battlefield, Splinter grants you and another player a card draw each, creating a potential advantage in card advantage strategies. He fits well in decks focusing on control or creature removal, but be mindful that his abilities hinge on the state of your opponents' creatures. **As a Commander:** Splinter offers flexibility as a commander for a white-focused strategy, leveraging his creature destruction and card draw mechanics effectively. His abilities also make him a solid choice in the 99 of decks that appreciate removal and card advantage, allowing you to maintain pressure while ensuring you stay ahead in resources.
