Speedball, New Warrior - Marvel Super Heroes (Uncommon) [MSH-227]

Speedball, New Warrior is a 2/2 Human Hero from the Marvel Super Heroes set that gains +2/+2 whenever a player casts a spell targeting him, allowing you to redirect that spell to another target. This ability can create significant swings in power during combat and offers clever interactions with spells aimed at him. Speedball fits well in decks that focus on spell-based strategies or creature protection. **As a Commander:** Speedball's ability to become a sizeable threat while also manipulating spell targets makes him an engaging choice for a Commander in a blue-red (Izzet UR) deck. His low mana cost encourages aggressive play, making him suitable for a spell-slinger strategy that maximises the value of instant and sorcery spells.
