Sheltering Light - Ixalan (Uncommon) [XLN-35]

When you cast Sheltering Light, you choose a creature you control, and it becomes indestructible until the end of your turn, meaning it can't be destroyed by damage or effects that specifically say "destroy." Additionally, you get to scry 1, which allows you to look at the top card of your library and decide whether to keep it on top or put it on the bottom of your deck. This card is particularly useful during combat to protect a key creature from removal spells or to ensure your creature survives a fight, but its one-mana cost and instant speed make it less effective if your opponent has ways to deal with indestructible creatures or if you don't have creatures worth protecting.
