Safehold Elite⁣ - Ultimate Masters⁣ (Common)⁣ [220]

Safehold Elite is a 2/2 Elf Scout from Ultimate Masters that costs {1}{G/W} and features the Persist ability, allowing it to return to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter if it dies without any counters on it. This mechanic provides a reliable source of recursion, making it a solid choice for any deck focused on value and board presence, especially in token strategies or decks that can remove -1/-1 counters. However, keep in mind that its effectiveness diminishes once it accumulates a -1/-1 counter, limiting its longevity in combat.
