Nightsky Mimic is a shapeshifter creature that starts as a 2/1 but can grow significantly when you cast a spell that is both white and black. Specifically, when you do so, its power and toughness become 4/4, and it gains flying for that turn, making it a much more formidable attacker or blocker. You'd want to include this card in decks that can easily generate spells of both colours, as it can turn into a threatening presence quickly; however, its relatively low base stats mean it can be easily dealt with if you don't have a way to consistently trigger its ability.
