Nicanzil, Current Conductor⁣ - The Lost Caverns of Ixalan: Extras⁣ (Uncommon)⁣ [306]

Nicanzil, Current Conductor is a legendary Merfolk Scout from The Lost Caverns of Ixalan that enhances your exploration strategy. Whenever a creature you control explores a land card, you can put a land from your hand onto the battlefield tapped, and if it explores a nonland card, Nicanzil receives a +1/+1 counter. This synergy makes it a strong choice for decks focused on exploration and landfall mechanics. **As a Commander:** Nicanzil's colour identity of Simic (GU) allows for a diverse range of spells and creatures that can support exploration synergies. As a commander, it can lead a deck that maximises land drops and counters, although it may shine more in the 99 of a dedicated exploration deck rather than as the primary commander.
