Merseine is a two-cost Aura from the Fallen Empires set that enchants a creature and enters the battlefield with three net counters. It prevents the enchanted creature from untapping during its controller's untap step as long as it has a net counter, creating a strong lockdown effect. The ability to remove counters by paying the enchanted creature’s mana cost allows for strategic control over which creatures remain active, making it valuable in decks focused on stalling or disabling opponents' threats.
