Master Chef (V.1)⁣ - Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate: Extras⁣ (Common)⁣ [519]

Master Chef is a green enchantment background from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate that enhances your commander and other creatures by ensuring they enter the battlefield with an additional +1/+1 counter. This ability significantly boosts the resilience and power of your creature board state, making it ideal for strategies that focus on creature synergy and board presence. Works well in decks that leverage counters or creature-heavy strategies but is limited to use with commanders who can utilise backgrounds. **As a Commander:** Master Chef can be an excellent choice as a commander in a +1/+1 counter-focused deck. Its green colour identity allows for a variety of synergies, particularly with cards that support counter generation and creature growth. However, it may serve better in the 99 of a deck that already has a strong focus on counters, as the benefits can be maximised without the need to build around it as a primary commander.
