Mai, Jaded Edge - Magic: The Gathering | Avatar: The Last Airbender (Uncommon) [TLA-147]

Mai, Jaded Edge is a legendary Human Noble from the Avatar: The Last Airbender set, boasting prowess and the ability to gain double strike through an exhaust mechanic. This 1/3 creature grows stronger with each noncreature spell you cast, making it a solid choice for spellslinger strategies that leverage instant and sorcery spells to boost its stats and deal damage. However, its reliance on noncreature spells means it may struggle in creature-heavy decks. **As a Commander:** Mai's prowess ability pairs well with spellslinger builds in red, offering a way to deal damage while promoting a noncreature strategy. While she can serve as a Commander, she may shine more in the 99 of decks focused on spell synergy rather than leading the charge herself.
