Kaijin of the Vanishing Touch is a defensive creature that can't attack due to its Defender ability, but it plays a unique role in combat. When it blocks an attacking creature, that creature is returned to its owner's hand at the end of combat, essentially removing it from the battlefield and disrupting your opponent's plans. This makes it useful for controlling aggressive decks, as it can repeatedly bounce threats while remaining a solid wall; however, its lack of offensive capabilities means it won’t contribute to your own damage output, and it can be vulnerable to removal spells that target creatures.
