In Bolas's Clutches⁣ - Dominaria⁣ (Uncommon)⁣ [54]

In Bolas's Clutches is a five-mana Aura enchantment from Dominaria that allows you to take control of any permanent, making it legendary in the process. This control mechanic can be pivotal in stealing key threats from your opponents while simultaneously increasing the value of your own board presence. It fits well in control-focused decks that seek to manipulate the battlefield and disrupt opponents' strategies, but be mindful of its mana cost and the need for a suitable target. **As a Commander:** While In Bolas's Clutches can be a strong inclusion in various decks, its effectiveness as a commander is limited due to its nature as an Aura. It works best in the 99 of control or theft-themed decks, particularly in blue-based strategies like Azorius or Dimir, where you can leverage its control abilities while maintaining a strong board state.
