Gilded Pinions is an Equipment card that costs two mana to cast. When you play it, you immediately create a Treasure token, which you can later sacrifice for one mana of any colour, providing some ramp or fixing for your mana needs. Once it’s equipped to a creature, that creature gains flying, making it able to evade ground blockers and potentially deal damage from the air. You might want to play Gilded Pinions in a deck that benefits from flying creatures, or if you need a little extra mana to help cast your spells. However, the equipping cost of two mana means it might be slow to get going, especially if you’re relying on it for a quick tempo advantage. It's best suited for mid to late game, when you can afford to invest in equipping creatures.
