Gate Colossus is an imposing 8/8 creature that can be easier to cast if you have Gates on the battlefield, as it costs {1} less for each Gate you control. Once on the field, it’s difficult to block because creatures with power 2 or less can’t stop it, allowing it to swing through for significant damage. Additionally, if you have Gates entering the battlefield, you can return Gate Colossus from your graveyard to the top of your library, giving you a chance to play it again later, but remember that it’s quite expensive to cast, so you'll want to build your deck around Gates to make it more manageable.
