If you choose to suspend it, you pay one blue mana and exile it with four time counters; each upkeep, you’ll remove a counter, and once the last one is gone, you can cast it for free, giving it haste so it can attack immediately. This card is useful in decks that can benefit from free creatures coming into play later, but its high mana cost means you’ll want to plan ahead, as it can take a while to get on the battlefield if you’re relying on the Suspend option.
