Death Cultist⁣ - Rise of the Eldrazi⁣ (Common)⁣ [105]

Death Cultist is a one-mana black creature from Rise of the Eldrazi that trades itself for a small drain effect, costing you a life swing of 2 when sacrificed. It's a 1/1 body that can block early or be cashed in later for the life loss/gain, making it a cheap way to close out a game or push through lethal damage in aggressive mono-black builds. It also synergises with sacrifice-matters strategies, since it gives you a body that wants to die rather than one you're forced to throw away.
