Crown of Empires allows you to tap a target creature for just three mana, but if you control both Scepter of Empires and Throne of Empires, you gain control of that creature instead. This makes it a strategic tool for controlling the battlefield, particularly in artifact-centric decks that can easily assemble the trio. However, without the other two artifacts, its utility is limited to simply tapping creatures.
