Captain Vargus Wrath⁣ - Commander Legends⁣ (Uncommon)⁣ [273]

Captain Vargus Wrath is a 1/1 Orc Pirate from the Commander Legends set that boosts your Pirates by +1/+1 for each time you've cast your commander from the command zone during the game. This ability can lead to significant board presence in Pirate-themed decks, especially when combined with commander's that have strong recursion or frequent casting. However, its low toughness makes it vulnerable to removal, so protecting it is essential. **As a Commander:** Captain Vargus Wrath offers a fun and thematic option for Pirate tribal decks, capitalising on the synergy of casting your commander multiple times. With a colour identity of Izzet (UR), it encourages aggressive playstyles while also supporting strategies that involve frequent commander recasting to maximise its ability.
