Captain Ripley Vance⁣ - Modern Horizons 2⁣ (Uncommon)⁣ [119]

Captain Ripley Vance is a 3/2 Human Pirate from Modern Horizons 2 that rewards you for casting multiple spells each turn by gaining +1/+1 counters and dealing damage equal to its power to any target. This ability makes her a solid choice for spell-slinger strategies that focus on casting numerous low-cost spells to maximise her damage output and board presence. **As a Commander:** Captain Ripley Vance fits well in a Izzet UR deck, emphasising a spell-heavy game plan. While she can serve as a potent commander, her abilities may shine more in the 99 of decks that leverage her synergy with low-cost spells and instants, allowing her to quickly escalate in power and provide direct damage.
