Captain Howler, Sea Scourge - Aetherdrift (Rare) [DFT-194]

Captain Howler, Sea Scourge is a legendary Shark Pirate from the Aetherdrift set that offers a unique discard synergy. With a mana cost of {2}{U}{R}, it has Ward, making it harder to target, and boosts a creature's power whenever you discard cards, allowing for card draw when that creature deals combat damage. This card fits well in discard-focused strategies, enhancing aggression while providing card advantage. **As a Commander:** Captain Howler can be a strong choice for a discard-themed deck, leveraging its abilities to create a powerful offensive presence. Its blue-red colour identity supports spells that facilitate discarding and drawing, making it a compelling commander for players who enjoy a blend of aggression and card manipulation.
