Abstract Paintmage is a 2/2 Djinn Sorcerer from Secrets of Strixhaven that generates {U}{R} mana at the start of your first main phase, which can only be used for casting instant and sorcery spells. This mana acceleration fits well in spell-heavy decks that leverage a lot of instants and sorceries, allowing you to cast powerful spells earlier in the game. However, its utility is limited by the requirement of only using the mana for specific types of spells.
